The 15th Annual Meeting of SUI IURIS (“Ibero-American Association of Law Faculties and Schools”) took place on 3-4 July 2025 at the Law Faculty of the University of Lisbon. The Lisbon SUI IURIS Meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation through the sharing of legal teaching and research with similar institutions in Europe (ELPIS/European Legal Practice Integrated Studies and SIPE/Societas Iuris Pubblici Europaei) and in the Americas (SEALS /Southeastern Association of Law Schools). The attempt to build “new bridges” between different “legal continents” led to the joint conference of 4 July on “The Role of the Courts in the Protection of Fundamental Rights and in Guaranteeing the Rule of Law”, which is now being published.
